April Foolish

Seeing this picture on 'It's Mary Ruffle' today actually made me laugh out loud.

This flower is a Grape Hyacinth. My mom planted hundreds of these bulbs one winter and when they finally came up in the spring, I was pretty excited. So excited that I picked every single one of them in our front yard, then proceeded to rip off all the little flowers and throw them around the yard like confetti. I was the best behaved child in the world.

* I am staying up all night because I have way too much to do with school/honors thesis/mr. university and instead of being productive I'm blogging and watching Planet Earth. What an awesome use of my time, right?
