Vonnegut | Relatively Sane

In this passage the character Harry is dressed in a grass skirt and luau gear. He isn't sure if his boss, Dwayne, suspects him of being a transvestite or not. Dwayne is in the process of having a complete mental break down and see's "Hawaiian week" at the car dealership as a sign of his insanity.
"So here was the new Harry now, rosy with fear and excitement. He felt uninhibited and beautiful and lovable and suddenly free.

He greeted Dwayne with a word which meant both hello and goodbye."
Breakfast of Champions (p. 103)

* The only way to describe this book is heartbreakingly funny. It took a few chapters but now i have the swing of Vonnegut's writing pattern, and i love it!
