We went to the lake all day yesterday and I am very very sunburned. ( I secretly think a little bit of a sunburn feels good! ) After so many days of work it was JUST what I needed.
It was weird to swim in water that wasn't salty though.
This was the first time i've experienced that since i left San Diego.
It was the kind of thing that surprises you with a momentary rush of homesickness.
the same way the sand on my running shoes made me cry.
