After 3 weeks of every-day rain & nine months of blue jeans
summer finally came today in Portland.
and I know you probably don't need the reminder.
but . . . just in case.

everywhere.

to thaw out your heart.
Because maybe it missed the memo.
It's finally s u m m e r
and the things we keep closed to hide from the cold
need opening.
except for the freezer.
Popsicles are the one thing that don't need melting.
