Even though the sun has been taking it's sweet time, today is the deadline. Today summer is being dragged kicking and screaming from it's dark hiding place. Like inducing labor - ready or not, here you come!
Summer solstice is my favorite day of the year. It heralds the arrival of my favorite season. It's also the longest day of the year. It has the most daylight for my favorite things : sunbathing, badminton and checking tasks off my to-do list. I'm always saying I need more hours. June 20th, wish granted ....
