show + tell | Ugh, Statistics.

I'm thinking of posting an ad in the college newspaper. WANTED: infinitely patient, non-judgmental math tutor for student who is so bad with numbers they can't even dial a phone number correctly.

I think the only reason I haven't is because if the tutor turns out to be a boy I will probably try to marry them in a show of gratitude. Or because they're patient. Or because I would never again have to balance my own check book.

So this week's show + tell is decidedly un-pretty because I'm studying for my Quantitative Research Methods midterm. I'm determined to do well in this class. But you guys, that anti-feminist Barbie was not joking. Math class is tough (and party dresses are fun.)

UPDATE: I got an A! Take that, mathematicians.

  2. Math might be the reason I majored in English. And married an accounting major.

    Good luck with statistics!

    1. Me too, Katie! I managed to make it through my entire BA without taking a math course. (though, I sure am regretting that now.)

  5. I took statistics twice, got a D the first time and an A the second. I blame my poor performance on my professor, I hope you are not stuck with a bad one. Try youtube videos and google, seeing how other people did the equations helped me a lot.
