Danielle Steel | On A Writer's Life

"Writing is a solitary endeavor, but not a lonely one. When you write, your world is populated by the characters you invent and you feel those people filling your lives"
Danielle Steel, author of 97 books. The Wall Street Journal May 7-8, 2011.

  1. I LOVE writing. Even though I eventually want to secure a job in economics, writing will always be my one true love. And Danielle Steel described writing perfectly. The characters a writer creates come to life and begin to speak to the writer as if they were real people.

  4. Lauren : Right? I feel like if I wrote even ONE book that would be every idea I've ever had. Then I'd be out!

Meg : That would be a dream come true! I always feel like I'm sitting down for coffee with you when I read your blog.
