ReplyDeleteI loved Reading Lolita in Tehran. I read it early in college and it's one of the many reasons I want to teach English. Nafisi also wrote a second book but I have yet to read it.
ReplyDeleteBrynna : a miniseries? that would be a dream come true! Kavalier and Clay was one of those books that I wish went on forever (...but the ending was truly one of my favorites)
ReplyDeleteKatie : I read Reading Lolita in Tehran while I was doing my applications for graduate school and it made me feel the same way! It's inspiring to see the impact literature can have on life.
I love that the time travelers wife is in the background of the pic, because that is one of my favorites, its one of those that i can read again and again, and it is still good. If only they had done it more justice with the movie ...

ReplyDeleteDiana : I was so disappointed in that movie. (and I'm totally not one of those people who thinks that the book is always better) I think the book could have made for a great screen adaption.
