lilacs in Northampton.
my (somewhat willing) portrait practice subject.
this year I vowed to take more pictures of humans (... and not just | the back of  | their heads). Poor Tyler has bore the brunt of that little venture. We passed this deep purple lilac bush on the walk home from school and he complied - even when props became involved. What a guy!

  1. You definitely have a gift of photographing people.... such a difficult thing to do in my opinion. And what a handsome subject!

    1. that's so kind, Tiffany! I definitely still have a lot to learn. Taking pictures of people is so difficult. Any time humans become involved I have a lot more "throw away" shots but I find myself returning to the ones that do turn-out more so than any still life or scenery.

    1. I'll be sure to pass on the compliment, as I absolutely insisted on those when we were in the glasses store!
