get out the aran sweaters!

Last year at the Holyoke St. Paddy's day parade all the people lining the streets were wearing these butter colored cable knit sweaters. I was like what are those and where can I get one? Turns out, it's called an aran sweater (or aran jumper if you're really serious) and it's a classic Irish fisherman's pullover. This christmas my East Coast dreams came true and Tyler got me my very own aran sweater. It's so warm and smells a little bit like a sheep. the real deal. On St. Paddy's day, it's just as good as any sparkly shamrock headband. And every other day of the year, it's me and Steve McQueen.

    1. Colleen, I bet you rock an aran sweater better than anyone! although, there aren't many opportunities for wool in San Diego, huh?

  2. You are so cute in your aran! I wish I could pull them off. They're so bulky on me, but I always try them on. Oh, yes I do.

    1. Tiffany, mine was kind of bulky when I first put it on! but as you wear it the wool really begins to drape and kind of forms to fit you. gotta love natural fibers, they are amazing!
