I was finishing off an essay for submission this weekend about my trip to Provincetown, and I thought I'd share a few iPhone snaps (that's me with the top-knot). Travelling there was a poetry pilgrimage to the home of Mary Oliver, who I'm pretty sure is my spirit animal. I've written about her here a lot over the years.
being vulnerable
change
imperfection
amazement
finding the time to write
being positive
p.s...
two more of Provincetown, on film.
(You know I'm obsessed with the pink light in these pictures, right?) XO
ReplyDeleteIt was right when the days were really short so the sun was "setting" for like four hours. The light was to die!

ReplyDeleteMary Oliver.. she's something of a wonder.
ReplyDeletebeautiful photos! and nice top knot ;)
ReplyDeleteas a girl with curly hair, top knots are my go to ocean-side hair-do. Otherwise, I'm five kinds of frizz in minutes!
